Khuzestan Cement Factory is built on an area of 100 hectares in the Dasht-e Dena region, 120 kilometers east of Ahvaz city, and is covered by Fars Khuzestan Holding and cement supply company Social Security Investment Company (Shasta).
The construction of the factory began in 1372, and the first phase with the daily capacity of 3000 tons of clink was produced in March 1376, and the second phase was also used with the daily capacity of 5000 tons of clinker in January 1388. Easy access to the Persian Gulf waters, close to the land and water borders of Iraq, and the existence of construction projects in Khuzestan province, especially agricultural projects of the petrochemical oil industry and their downstream industries, have provided a strategic position and special privileges for the company.
Khuzestan Cement Company is currently one of the largest cement factories in the country with annual production of 2/5 million tons of clinker and cement, including 5, 2, 1 and oil well (G-Class) cement and pozolani cement and a very high quality.
